Pre-requisites for installing EUM V7

Below are the pre-requisites for installing EUM V7:

  1. An Azure Tenant and SharePoint online
  2. EUM install process involves a call with someone having Azure Global Admin and SharePoint Online Admin access
  3. DotNet 8.0 Framework needs to be installed in the system of the Global Administrator, and it can be downloaded here: Download .NET 8.0 Runtime (v8.0.1) - Windows x64 Installer (microsoft.com)
  4. Entra ID Premium (P1 or P2) needed for EUM V7 Installation

Below are the pre-requisites for EUM V7 to work:

  1. One-Time Passcode for non-Microsoft users login should be turned ON in your Entra ID
  2. For EUM to be able to send Email Notifications, you will need to set up a Member type of account in your Entra ID and give it an O365 Email license. This could be a Service Account, but not a shared mailbox, and should not have any elevated permissions.
  3. EUM uses an API Connection to connect to the EUM Config Site, which would be a SharePoint site in your tenant. The same account as above can be used to authenticate the API Connection
