Landing Admin Access levels

There are a few levels of access that the users can be set for Landing Admin:

  1. No Access
  2. Group Owner
  3. Group Editor Group
  4. Configuration Editor - Group
  5. Configuration Editor - User

No Access:

If the user is not a Configuration Editor, or a member of either Configuration Editor - Group, or Group Editor Group, or a Group Owner, the Landing Admin will display a blank page to the user.

Group Owner

Depending upon the access configuration, the Group Owner can have different access levels in Landing Admin.

  1. Search Users
    • Group Owner - Access To Landingadmin set to No Access: Group Owner cannot search any user. However, the Group Owner can add users. Upon adding a user, even if the user is added to the Group Owner's group, it would vanish from the Group Owner's Landing Admin
    • Group Owner - Access To Landingadmin set to Group members only: Group Owner cannot search user from other groups. However, the Group Owner can search user in owned group and  add users. Upon adding a user, if the user is not added without a group, it would vanish from the Group Owner's Landing Admin
    • Group Owner - Access To Landingadmin set to All users: Group Owner can search all users irrespective of groups. Group owner can add a new user, and even if the user is not added to the owned group, the Group Owner can see the user
  2. Access to User Import: If "Who is Allowed To Import Users" set as "All", Group Owner would be able to Import Users
  3. Add User: Group Owner can always add users

Group Editor Group

Members of Group Editor Group can always Add and Search User, Add, Search and Import Groups. If "Who is Allowed To Import Users" set as "All" or "Group Editors and Configuration Editors" then Group Editor Group member would be able to Import Users

Configuration Editor - Group

Members of Configuration Editor Group have full access to Landing Admin

Configuration Editor - User has full access to Landing Admin
