Envision IT/Extranet User Manager is a small organization consisting of 20 full time staff who literally love their jobs (average employee tenure 7+ years), but there’s something we’re missing that’s hindering our success. That is a Marketing Specialist. 

Do you like to wear many hats? Are you by chance a juggler? Maybe you’re a lone wolf who likes to take an idea and run with it - if so, we support you! In a small organization like Envision IT, we get to wear multiple hats and juggle tasks based on priority, and the Marketing Specialist role will be no different. 

We have been on a journey to build great content, blogs, and social campaigns. Now, we need a full-time Marketing Specialist to continue to drive results for our business.

Working collaboratively with Sales to align product marketing vision, brand, and approach, this role may also be required to work with key alliance partnerships for go-to-market execution and co-marketing opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to an overall marketing plan for the organization working with the President and Sales team as part of fiscal year planning
  • Execute marketing tasks and initiatives including weekly marketing touch-points 
  • Setup and execute webinars and conference presentations
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing and lead campaigns
  • Write blogs and other content
  • Website management for both Envision IT and Extranet User Manager sites 
  • Liaise with external vendors such as SEO or graphic design agencies to execute marketing tactics as required
  • Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

 THE FIT

  • University or College degree or equivalent business experience
  • A minimum of 3+ years B2B marketing experience with previous experience in the IT industry required
  • Motivated and proven track record of taking initiative
  • Love of writing, and communicating in all forms
  • Impeccable editorial skills with an outstanding command of the English language
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly 
  • Collaborate within a team, as well as work independently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp, CMS platforms, Google Analytics, Dynamics 365, SiteImprove considered an asset
