Inventory

A successful migration cannot be completed without a full understanding of what is being migrated. The key to this is to perform a full inventory. We have developed several tools to assist with this. We have different PowerShell scripts for different source environments, which you can run yourself, or we can assist/perform the work for you. These scripts are open-source and freely available to use.

Document Inventory Collection Scripts

  • Box, Dropbox, and G-Suite
  • SharePoint Online
  • Legacy Document Management Systems

Once the document details have been collected, they need to be prepared for analysis. Reviewing millions of documents and deciding what to keep, archive, or delete can be an overwhelming process. To assist with the analysis, we import the collected document metadata into Power BI.
