About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your goal is to drive all top-of-funnel sales lead activity into the pipeline and collaboratively work with members of the sales team to progress a qualified lead through the full sales process.

You’ll work closely together with Marketing to develop best practices for outreach, prospect engagement, conducting efficient discovery activities, and presenting our value proposition through a product demonstrations.

In this role you will:

  • Learn to proactively reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Actively listen to understand the customer's project requirements and goals as they align to our products and services
  • Ask questions to determine and understand how we can deliver the most value to the customer.
  • Guide the potential customer through the buying process by ensuring all stakeholders are involved in the early stages
  • Work hand in hand with sales and technical team members as a unified and complementary solution selling team
  • Work closely with marketing to identify and coordinate new campaigns

Where is the job based?

This position can be based anywhere within the United States or Canada. The majority of the EUM team is based in southern Ontario. We are expanding our operating footprint, however, and are open to those who live throughout the United States or Canada.

Job Requirements

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer success, consulting, marketing, or a related field, preferably at a technology solutions or B2B SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience with prospecting activities, such as emails, phone, and social outreach
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and sales calls
  • Experience using a CRM (customer relationship management) application to track sales pipeline activities
  • Proficient working with Microsoft 365, especially Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related field preferred
